As one would expect, there's a fair amount of vegetative stuff amongst my green pics!
Beans and kale, moss and lettuce, unripe tomatoes, angelica seed-heads and hairy oca leaves.
Green baby, green car, Green Man and a green gift.
Green is my second most favourite colour - only in the last two years or so - but I really love it now!
I haven't searched up much about green but good old Wikipedia seems to have it covered anyway!
I'm a bit stretched for time - I'm leaving on Wednesday - and haven't had a chance to surf the web looking for all things green! In fact, all the rest of these colour days will be posted while I am away..... not sure how it will work out yet, but where there's a will there's a way!!! As usual, I jumped into this without thinking ahead and didn't realise that I'd be posting from 'abroad'!!
So thats about it today. I hope you have fun finding green-ness in your life and do please stop by and peek at other bloggers green 'bits' - it's always nice to feel that your efforts are being appreciated by someone else!
Next week is blue, but remember that the week after is indigo or dark blue.

ReplyDeleteLove your freckle lettuce, we have them too and they are awesome in flavour and their abundant self seeding ways. You could always schedule your posts so they were already done before you left, or if it's a hassle just put them on hold until you get back. Have a wonderful trip.
ReplyDeleteI love your moss photo as well as your "green man' picture. I had a really fun time this week with the color green (it's one of my favorite colors) Thank you again for another fun weekly link up!! I linked to my blog correctly but forgot to change the title in my link up..sorry

That is such a sweet garden card! Oh, how I am amazed each and every time by the dew and rain pooling on leaves. I love it. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely ADORE green... a good earthy green and some earthy browns would be all that I would wear if only 2 colors were ever my choice. LOVE the baby's hat and the Green man is spectacular!
ReplyDeleteLove your photo's. Gave me a chance to revisit some of mine and post on my blog.
ReplyDeleteHi Evi, Loving your series of colour photos, and this selection of greens is very clever and quite beautiful. Sorry I haven't joined in, my discipline is sadly lacking ha ha, however, I do enjoy looking at yours and your blogfriends' contributions.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful trip. Cheers :D)
What is the plant at the top of the post? Green week was very fun. I was able to look at all the blogs.
