Red!! What a vibrant strong colour, it is!
Luscious summer berries.
Brilliant hips and haws in autumn.
Sturdy tractors and cars that go fast.
Fungi that advertise 'danger, beware'.
Bright and shiny dress up clothes.
Pomegranates, painted wool and personal journeys.
All of these are red and shouting loudly, 'Look at me'.
I like red a lot - it's not one of my very favourites but it's pretty high on the list.
I see red as warm, lush and volatile and would feel quite comfortable in a red room although probably not in a bedroom - I'd never really relax!
One of my private fantasies is to own a fast red car, preferably a Porsche or perhaps a Lamborghini, and glide along curving country roads. It has to be red 'coz red makes you go faster!
Did you know that the colour and material used in Elizabethan clothing was extremely important?
All of the above, other than the previous link, was written before I found this info about red - and interestingly, my thoughts were quite similar!
So, what thoughts on red can you share? I think it might be a colour you either love or hate, possibly depending on what type of personality you have - you, know those that love action and adventure might feel great with red and those that are calm and peace loving might find it a bit too wild!!
What do you think?
I think I've worked out how to use this Linky Link......??
