A visit from two daughters and one growing granddaughter over the weekend, left me with a lot of photos and most of the garden weeded and cleaned up! We spent both days out in the fresh spring air, enjoying the sunshine and the company of the chickens that scratched around as I dug. There was a bit of flower pressing happening, as well as some work on the poly tunnel.
The Tiny Elf chewed and chewed on spinach stalks and tasty heartsease flowers and on Monday morning her mama discovered a brand new, sharp and shiny tooth!!
I'll show some before and after garden shots when the weather clears and I can get a good photo!
oohh....can't get enough pictures of my beautiful Tassie sisters!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, on Saturday the Golden Girl and I were discussing the Tiny Elf and whether she was going to be teething soon! No wonder she was rather grumpy! hehe :)
Flower pressing... wow it's been a LONG time since I've done that!! have no idea where my little press went! :(
I love my little Elf, but this first tooth is somehow a milestone for me and a reminder to enjoy this fleeting season. I must get a copy of those for her album Ma. I just planted a heap more seeds for us both..greens..so that bit of gardening was perfect timing, as it will be all ready when the seedlings are! ox
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos Evi :-) Looks like a lovely family time.
ReplyDeleteOh, how delightful!
ReplyDeleteOh she is just so beautiful and a first tooth already. How quickly that time has gone. Mayhaps a tooth for Evan is not so far away. So nice to see photos of families out gardening.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family! (Chicken included!) - Kara xx
ReplyDeleteLook at your gorgeous family in the Spring sun. It warms my heart to see a bub using vegies as teething chews :)
