On our dinner plates tonight - lettuce...from the garden
- new potatoes....bandicooted from the garden
- and Linda's Fresh Pea and Mint Omelette Pikelets with peas from the garden and eggs straight from the chookies bum, topped with a blob of homemade tomato relish!!
Linda, we LOVED them!! Light and fluffy, tasty and delicious - what a great way to use up peas!!

Glad you like them. Lucky you in Tasmania, being able to grow peas this time of year!
ReplyDeleteRecipe please, they sound yummy.

Linda, the peas have finished now although my snow peas are still producing a few here and there. I do envy your abundance of beans though.....!
ReplyDeleteOh they are, Deb! You should be able to click on the recipe name and go straight to Lindas post on her blog.
awww, you're making me crave a 'Meg meal... that dinner sounds so nice :)
ReplyDeleteThat meal looks delicious. I'm like Linda, no peas for us at this time of year. Just thinking of getting them started for the winter!
ReplyDeleteEvi! WHAT a meal!
ReplyDeleteIt's quite late right now and I'm still drooling.
I followed your link. That recipe is great. I'm wondering what to have with pikelets for tomorrow night's tea? (Should it be that way around?)
Won't be long now Bonnie!!
ReplyDeleteKate, I too am thinking of putting my next lot in - but I'll have to extend the garden to make room!
Aleta, I think a tabouli salad would go really nicely with this too!
What a meal! Just beautiful. No peas here at the moment although we did receive our first egg from our chookies today! :)
