colour: white

Welcome back to Evi's blog

I'm rather fond of white actually, it gives me a feeling of tranquility somehow, and calmness.

Lets see what this weeks photo's have to offer.

First up we have all the karate clothes hanging on the line. It's obviously spring time on a beautiful sunny day.

Here's some flowers from the garden. Not to sure what they are, but if you look closely, you will see a bug sitting on one of the flowers.

Next you can see three white Land Rovers. The centre one is Evi's & mine, the other two belong to our two eldest boys. Everybody's Land Rover mad in our family.

One of the neighbours cows, looking out over the back fence.

Obviously some of Evi's finds from the Op shop. She loves all this sort of stuff.

Three more flower photo's. Not sure what or where, but Evi's camera takes some great shots.

Everyone can relate to the beach. I really love beach energy, it's just peaceful and serene. Just love the seagull.

Some More flowers. I'm just not up on flowers I'm afraid, so can't give you any info to these, but they look very attractive.

Lastly we have a spiders web on a frosty morning. There's been plenty of frost lately, and snow this last week.

Strictly speaking, white is not a color, but the manifestation of the presence of all color - the complete energy of light. It stands for wholeness and completion. In many cultures it represents openness and truth. White has a cold quality. It can provide clarity as its energy is complete.
White has purification vibrations and can be used to clear blocks from your path.
It holds the potential to move toward every other color and this makes it a good choice for new beginnings, and development in any direction.

Put some white in your life when you want:

To clear clutter & obstacles away
To start a fresh beginning
To bring about mental clarity
Purification of thoughts or actions

Hope you've enjoyed this weeks colour post

love to all

colour: grey

Welcome back to Evi's blog

Ok, time for this weeks colour post. Grey has always come across to me as rather neutral, and is doesn't inspire in me any emotion at all. Let's see what photo's we have for this week.

First up we have some driftwood and stones from the seashore. Typical of what you are likely to see around the coastline of Tasmania. Sandy beaches as well, but also a lot of stone.

Ominous grey cloud formations in the late afternoon sky. Don't know where this photo was taken. Probably on one of our road trips around Tassie.

Here we have fairly girl poking her head out of the window, of one of our friends gypsy wagons. Love the grey weathered timber.

Some stunning flowers, but I'm at a loss as to where or what.

Not to sure what this next photo is, but I would say it's been taken in a graveyard or church, on one of our many road trips around Tassie.

You can see how lush and green the Tasmanian landscape can be after a good dose of rain. I think this photo was taken at a place called Cressy.

Last we have a flock of native ducks swimming on the dam at the back of our property. All kinds of animals live there from time to time, including platypus and swans.

Gray is the true neutral color. Its energy imparts void, emptiness, lack of movement, emotion, warmth and identifying characteristics. Because of this, gray can be restful.

It has a detached and isolated feeling. Gray can have a cooling effect when placed next to other more vibrant colors. It has a stabilizing effect, making vibrant colors stand out while muting their vibration.

Put some grey in your life when you want:

to emphasize your willingness to comply
a neutral, non-invasive feeling
to reduce the intense energy of another colour
to feel detached or isolated
